Discover Science Log

April 29, 2013admin

Our school loves science. This year we had to do a science log. It was alot of fun to do. Our teacher Ms. Parke came in with different projects for each group to do. Some where quite easy and some were really really tricky to figure out. There were about five people in every group. We had to do projects such as design a bridge, design a catapult, amazing trianles and friction. We had only two days to get it finished, I thought we wouldn’t get it finished but luckily we got it finished and  Ms. O’Carroll sent it off in the post.

It was so fun doing cycle safety with Richie our cycling teacher, he was alot of fun. Some people cycled to school on there own, and Richie brought in other bikes for the other people. We did cycle safety every Thursday morning at 11 a.m. We did different types of cources and exercises. It was for 3rd class up to 6th class. We all did it for 6 weeks. He taught us to cycle safely on the different types of road, such as roundabouts and the back roads. We all had to wear helmets and do a bike check before we went on the bikes. We were all sad to see Richie go and we hope he comes back next year to teach us more about cycling.
