‘What Club Are You In?’ Survey 2017/2018
The children in Third and Fourth class had lots of fun learning about the various clubs their classmates were members of. They found that hurling, gymnastics, running and swimming clubs were of the greatest interest to the senior children in our school.

Our Active Agents do a great job keeping our noticeboard up-to-date for everyone to see. On this board, you will find advice, suggestions, the names of our Active Agents Committee, a suggestion box, exercise ideas and even newspaper clippings of sports achievements of the children in our school!

REMINDER: Three More Sleeps…. Mick’s Race is taking place this Sunday, 29th April 2018. It is a very special occasion for our school community. Please come and support in any way you can. Sports Achievements in Kilbride
Super Trooper Visit to SuperValu, Trim – Monday, 5th February 2018
Second Class paid a visit to SuperValu in Trim today as part of the Super Troopers Programme. They had a great visit. They got to try lots of fruit! We even got a behind the scenes tour of the bakery where all the yummy cakes, buns and bread are made. The children got to see the large fridges and ovens used in the making of the bread. They also got to see how the buns are decorated. We got to bring back some yummy treats which we enjoyed back at the school!

Physical Education – Games – Senior Infants – October 2017
All the school took part in Gaelic training with Rebecca from Dunderry during the months of September and October 2017. All the children really enjoyed it! Here is a photograph of Senior Infants practicing their Gaelic skills ?

Thank you to Jamie Leavy for visiting us on Friday, 1st September 2017, with the cup from the All Ireland B Hurling Final! The children were all happy to see Jamie! As a school, we are so proud of Jamie and the Meath team for winning the All Ireland Hurling Final last Saturday! Well done again boys from Kilbride National School ?⭐️??
Playground Stencils
Our Local Health Promotion Office gave us permission to borrow a fantastic set of playground stencils for our yard. Not only have the stencils made the yard a more colourful place, but also a much more active place! Have a look!
