The boys and girls in Fifth and Sixth Class moved from Gaelic football skills to Hurling skills this week!

The children in Fifth and Sixth Class enjoyed developing their GAA skill during PE today.

First beanbags, now GAA footballs. Our skills are progressing daily! Well done everyone!

The children in Junior Infants, First and Second had lots of fun practising their beanbag skills. The activities turned out to be a lot trickier than they expected! We balanced the beanbags on our heads, knees, shoulders, feet, back and hands while competing in a relay race. Our fellow team members had to be ready to catch the beanbag when it was their turn. The children loved every minute!

The children in Senior Infants/First Class thoroughly enjoyed practising some dance moves and making up some new moves of their own.

Strand Unit: Running, Jumping, Throwing, Understanding and appreciation of athletics

The children in First and Second Class set up stations to practise several different skills within the strand of athletics. After a few minutes, they rotated to the next station. Well done everyone!
