The Kilbride National School Parents Association would like to invite all Junior Infant parents to a Get to Know You Gathering! We would also like to extend this invitation to any parents of children in Senior Infants, First Class and Second Class who recently joined the school.
We hope that this would be an opportunity for parents to meet up and have a chat without the kiddies! We hope you can put names to faces or faces to names! We hope that this will be a nice opportunity for everyone to chat, ask questions and get to know each other a little more. We know that not everyone has the opportunity to meet at the school in the mornings or afternoons due to work and other commitments. We hope to see lots of parents on in the school. The kettle will be on and there will be goodies!
We are very happy to announce that Drumming Classes with Dave will start in October. The children have always thoroughly enjoyed these engaging and energetic lessons, and they are already looking forward to Dave’s return to school. His sessions are not only fun but also help build rhythm, coordination, and confidence
The First Holy Communion will take place on Saturday 9th May at 11:30 am in Kilbride Church.

Our Open Day will take place on Saturday, 18th October from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. Everyone is welcome to come along and see what Kilbride National School has to offer.
Dr. Mary O'Kane will give a talk on 'Anxiety in Children' on Tuesday 7th October 2025 at 7 p.m. in Kilbride National School. All children worry at times, but for some children it can be a real challenge to manage their anxieties. As parents, when your child is anxious it can be difficult to know how best to support them. In this talk Mary explains how anxiety impacts children's brains and bodies and offers parents practical advice on how to support their children during difficult times, helping them to manage their fears and find the bravery we know they have within them. Dr. Mary O'Kane gave a very informative and excellent talk to parents last year and we would highly recommend a good turn out for this talk. Hope you can make it!
One Week Left! We hope everyone is having an amazing summer. Kilbride National School will reopen on Tuesday, 26th August 2025. We cannot wait to welcome back all the children and to meet all our new Junior Infants. See you all soon!
