Sunday 19th May 2024: 5k Road Race - Fun Run and Walk. Registration will be in Dunderry GAA @ 10am and the race will commence @ 12pm. There will be some family fun after the race. A great day will be had! Online registration at www.justrunsevents.ie.

The children are really looking forward to commencing their drumming classes again this week. We are excited to invite Dave back to our school. Keep an eye out on the website for photos over the coming weeks.
The First Holy Communion will take place on Saturday 11th May at 11.30 in Kilbride Church. This is a very special occasion for the children in second class and they are really looking forward to the day.

We have been very busy celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge in Kilbride National School. As part of our Seachtain na Gaeilge celebrations we performed the "Haka as Gaeilge" today, Monday the 13th March 2023, as a whole school. Well done to all the girls and boys who did a wonderful performance and above all we had great fun in preparing for our whole school performance today.
The children in sixth class will be celebrating their Confirmation on Tuesday 9th April 2024 in St. Patrick’s Church in Trim. The ceremony will take place at 3pm. Good luck to all the boys and girls on their special day.
Many congratulations to our children in Second Class who are celebrating a very important sacrament today. The children are receiving the Sacrament of Penance. This is a very special occasion for our children and I know they have been working very hard at preparing for this very special day in our school. Many thanks to our teachers and parents who helped to prepare Aurora, Lila, Isabelle, Rebecca, Emma-Jane, Pearse, Daniel, Alex, Oisín, Darragh and Jayden for today's very special occasion. The children in Junior Infants and Rang Cairde Nua are celebrating 100 days at school on Wednesday 8th February. We are looking forward to this day of celebration!
