Thursday, 26th of September was a very special day in our school as we celebrated SNA Appreciation Day! We are very
lucky to have eight wonderful SNAs in our school who work so hard and care for all our children so
well. On behalf of everyone in our school community, I would like to thank Maureen, Ann, Claire,
Ellen, Suzanna, Alison, Sarah and Yvonne for all their support and kindness to everyone in our
school community. Everyone came together and threw our hats off to our super SNAs. Many thanks
to all the parents who sent in treats and expressed thanks to our fantastic SNAs! We hoped they
enjoyed their day!

It is Election Season in Kilbride National School. Our Student Council Elections will be held shortly. This council is a great place for children to voice their opinions, ideas and views about their experiences in our school. It is a forum for our children to become involved in the school, working in partnership with everyone in our school community. We are looking forward to working with our Student Council this year. We have no doubt they will have great ideas on how to enhance the holistic experiences of all the children in our school. Our student council will consist of a chairperson, a secretary and a treasurer, who will all be elected from sixth class. We will also have one class representative from every other class in our school, from Rang Cairde Nua, Junior Infants and all the way up to Fifth Class.
