Learning Support/Resource | To be Announced |
As you are aware, a new permanent teaching position arose in our school for this coming September. Under the Department of Education & Skills, rules and guidelines, only a teacher from the Meath panel had to be appointed to this vacancy. I am delighted to announce that Ms. Aoibhe Rooney is the new appointee to our school. Ms. Rooney is at present on maternity leave and will not commence this post until 25th September. Ms. Rooney comes very highly recommended and I am very happy with this appointment. This is a very short time and the children in 3rd and 4th class will be very prepared for her arrival.
I would like to pay tribute to Ms. Karen Dunne for all her hard work and dedication to our school this year. She has been a very important member of our staff and did great work for our school community. On behalf of our school, I would like to wish Ms. Karen Dunne every success for the future.
School Bus for next September
Anyone who wishes to avail of the school bus service next September must contact Philly’s Cabs on 086 3639769 to confirm their place.
Summer Holidays
The school will be closing this Friday, 30th June at 12 noon sharp for the summer holidays.
Non-Uniform Day – Friday, 30th June
The children can wear their ordinary clothes to school this Friday and don’t need to wear their uniforms. They can bring in treats for a class party.

I am delighted to announce that our new website is now live. Please see www.kilbridenstrim.ie for updates and news on our school.

Finally, on behalf of myself, Lynette, Claire, Sarah, Chelsea, Karen, Mary, Maureen, Sheila and Pat, I would like to thank you all most sincerely for your help and support throughout the school year.
