School Uniform Policy
The Board of Management of Kilbride National School in consultation with the Parents’ Association and teaching staff has in place the following policy on school uniform:
School Uniform
All pupils are expected to wear the school uniform during school and school-related activities unless specifically excused.
Jewellery
Watches are permitted to be worn. One stud ear ring in each ear is permitted to be worn by girls. For safety reasons ear rings are not permitted in the higher part of the ear .Nose rings and other unsafe piercings are strictly forbidden. Boys are not permitted to wear ear rings.
Children will be asked to remove incorrect jewellery.
Any breach of these rules is a breach of our school’s Code of Behaviour.
This policy was approved by the Board of Management in the academic year 2018/2019 and will be reviewed in the academic year 2019/2020.
