A big well done and congratulations to all the boys and girls in third and fourth class who participated in an excellent performance of ‘Tinsel and Tea towels’ as part of their Christmas play! Lots of practise went into this performance and it certainly paid off on the night! Everybody said they did excellently. Ms. Mullen was very proud of all the children![/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=".vc_custom_1544195972552{background-color: #b7dd1f !important;}"] Prize winners in 3rd and 4th class - Friday 7th December 2018

Report Writing

Since coming back in September we have been very busy looking at reports and how to write our own reports. The children in Third and Fourth Class have been very busy working on their own reports. They have written their own book report on their favourite book. They have also written a report on their favourite animal. This week they are busy writing their reports on their favourite celebrity. This week, as part of Maths Week 2018, the children in Third and Fourth Class will also be writing a short report on a famous mathematician. Keep up the great work Third and Fourth Class!

Arts and Crafts in Third and Fourth Class

The children have been very busy in Third and Fourth Class since coming back after the summer holidays. We have been doing lots of drawing. We have also looked at the artist of Leonardo Di Vinci and we drew our own versions of the Mona Lisa. The children have also completed entries for the Credit Union Competition and they are busy at present completing a competition entry for Folens Halloween Competition where they have to design a Day of the Dead Mask. Last week the children created a sunset background and they are eagerly waiting for this weeks Visual Art Lesson where they will be cutting out black spooky silhouettes to stick onto their sunset pictures - making spooky Halloween pictures! Keep up the great work Third and Fourth Class. Who knows, we could have the next Michaelangelo right here in Kilbride National School!
