These wonderful boys and girls had a great first day in Kilbride today and we already can’t wait for tomorrow!

Our super Junior Infants are settling into Kilbride so well.
We are all very proud of them!
They have been busy bees in the classroom over the last few weeks.. Lots of activities, learning, play and fun with their new friends.
We love our drumming lessons with Dave every Monday!
We went for an Autumn walk around our school and we collected lots of lovely colourful leaves.
We used our leaves to design our own Autumn trees during our Art lesson.
It was a little bit spooky this week in our Junior Infants classroom!
Lots of Halloween activities and art. We made our own potion and we finished our fun week with a dress up day and party with plenty of delicious treats!
We are feeling festive in Junior Infants this week! We were hard working elves in Santa's Workshop during Aistear, we designed Patrick Kielty's jumper for the toy show and we made decorations for our Christmas tree!
Not to mention the return of our elf Twinkle.. he has been causing a lot of trouble in our classroom every day!!
Our wonderful boys and girls went on their first school trip today and what a super day it was!
We visited Trim Fire Station and learned lots about fire safety and the work of a fireman. We even got to sit in the fire engine, wear their coat and helmet and use the hose! We finished our day off in Trim Playground where we enjoyed a picnic and had a lot of fun with our friends.
Our Junior Infants marked 100 days in school today and celebrated in style - Dressed as grannies and grandads! We had a party, a disco, lots of play and plenty of smiles as we celebrated 100 days of learning and fun in big school with our friends.
We had great celebrations in Junior Infants for World Book Day! We dressed up as a character from our favourite book. We also enjoyed sharing stories, buddy reading, designing book covers and celebrating our love of reading together. Before home time, the children in 5th and 6th class visited us to read our favourite stories to us - We had a super day!
This week we planted cress seeds together.
We are taking great care of our plants - making sure they are getting light and lots of water.
We can't wait for them to grow! Look at the funny faces we drew on the pots. When the cress grows they will look like funny men with lots of hair!!
We are enjoying all the Seachtain na Gaeilge celebrations in school this week!
Two highlights of the week for us was having a 'Dioscó Gaeilge' on the yard with Senior Infants and also buddying up with our friends in 5th and 6th class for 'Cluichí Gaeilge'
