We had a great two weeks in Kilbride National School celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge. The children all carried out various fun activities for Irish with their class teachers. On Friday the 6th of March 2015 we had a whole school Tráth na gCeist in Kilbride National School. The whole school was divided up into teams and competed against each other to answer the very hard questions asked in Irish. On Friday the 13th of March we held a whole school Ceilí Mór. All classes had a dance prepared which they performed for the rest of the school. As a whole school we the performed An Damhsa Mór. On Friday the 13th of March 2015 we also had a "Green Day" in school where the children would wear in green / Irish clothes to finish off Seachtain na Gaeilge. All of the children had great fun and participated in all events.
