GAA Five Star Flag
We have great news to share with you all. Kilbride National School has been awarded the GAA Five Star Flag! The girls and boys in Kilbride National School work very hard at practicing all their GAA skills and they have great fun when doing so. Keep up the great work everyone. Some of the girls and boys from Third and Fourth Class were very happy to accept the flag today on behalf of the whole school! 🏐🏐
Girl's Gaelic Football Team
Here are a few pictures from the girls preparing for their game against Oristown NS. The girls played really well on the day. Sadly, we did not win but the girls gave it their everything and they never gave up. Well done girls! We are all so proud of you all here in Kilbride National School.
Hurling and Camoige Skills - Monday, 30th September 2019
The children in Third and Fourth Class really enjoyed learning hurling and camoige skills today. They learned how to throw and catch the sliotar as well as hitting the sliotar with the hurley along the ground. They are already looking forward to next week. Well done to all the boys and girls in Third and Fourth Class for taking part and giving it a try!
