We learned about Vincent Van Gogh, our Artist of the Month for October. We looked at and responded to his Sunflowers, taking inspiration from his work in creating our own flower pieces. Look at how they turned out!
We have been delighted to have GAA coach William in from Dunderry GAA over the last number of weeks. He has been teaching us lots of new skills and have been having a lot of fun!

We continue to strengthen our fingers each day, carrying out lots of fine motor and pre-writing activities. We are getting very good at cutting with scissors and using our glue sticks!
We had an exciting week leading up to the Student Council elections. We listened to each of our classmates' applications and then visited the polling booth to submit our votes!
We were very excited to visit our school playground this week and had lots of fun in the sun!
We have been doing lots of fine-motor activities to strengthen our hands for writing. This week we learned all about vertical lines. We practised making, tracing, drawing and painting them!
We have had a busy start in Junior Infants over the last few weeks. We completed lots of fun activities and got to know each other and our new classroom!
