We all really enjoyed Seachtain na Gaeilge here in Kilbride National School. All the children enjoyed all the extra Irish activities that were planned for the last two and a half weeks. They particularly enjoyed the Tráth na gCeist. Congratulations to the winners; Ryan, Conor, Danny, Donal, Ellen, Jenna, Caitlyn, Rachel, Roisín and Anna. The children from Junior Infants all the way up to Sixth Class really enjoyed the Sean Nós Dancing and the listening to the traditional Irish music. We would like to thank Rose and Michael for coming in last Friday, 11th March 2016 and taking the children for the Sean Nós dancing and the traditionally Irish Music. Seachtain na Gaeilge ends in Kilbride National School today, Wednesday the 16th March 2016 with "Green Day". The children have all made a great effort to dress in something green in preparation and celebration of St. Patrick's Day tomorrow.
