With World Cup fever in the air, we here in Kilbride have organised our own soccer league! For the past few years a soccer league, for the boys and girls from first to sixth class who wish to join in, has been organised. The teams are mixed, with boys and girls from different classes on each team. This year the teams are named after teams represented in the World Cup and of course Ireland! The competition started at break time today, Tuesday 17th June 2014 and will continue up to the end of lunch time Thursday 19th June. The semi - finals and the final will be played on Friday the 20th June. The games will be refereed by some of the pupils from fifth and sixth class. This league has proven popular over the last few years and we are all looking forward to another competitive, sporting and most of all a fun tournament. Good Luck to all the teams involved!!
