Next year, 2015, is the 70th Anniversary of Kilbride National School. We plan to celebrate and mark this important event which will coincide with the building of our new school extention.
Parents who are past pupils of the school and parents who know past pupils of Kilbride National School are asked to please send in any memorabilia associated with their time in our school. Parents could contact the school with a view to coming in and speaking with the children, the class teachers and Ms. Murphy about life in Kilbride National School during their time here. We are hoping to create a school archive which can be viewed on the day of our 70th Anniversary celebration.
The 70th Anniversary celebrations that will be hosted in the school in 2015 will hopefully bring together our pupils from the past and present. If any parent or parents are interested in helping Ms. Murphy and the class teachers put together a project on the history of Kilbride National School, please contact the school as soon as possible.
