Senior Infants

Christmas Fun!!

The children were busy little elves this week, working in Santa's workshop! They had to build toys and wrap presents. They also created beautiful Christmas trees using paint and forks!

Pablo Picasso

The children learned about 'Cubism', a technique by the famous artist Pablo Picasso. They made some super pieces of art this week.

Science Week

The children in senior infants were busy scientists and engineers this week. They got to try out some fun experiments! Check out what they were investigating with 4th and 5th classes help!

A Spooky Week in Senior Infants

The children had a Halloween fun-filled week. They were busy writing procedures about how to 'Carve a Halloween Pumpkin', they made spooky ghosts with 5th and 6th class and went on a spooky walk with their ghosts! They also dressed up on Friday and had a great day in their costumes!

Autumn Trees

Check out how the Senior Infants used broccoli to create beautiful autumn trees! They had lots of fun using the different autumn colours.

Little Red Riding Hood

The children loved listening to the fairy tale 'Little Red Riding Hood' in school this week. Check out their artwork of the Big Bad Wolf!! Well done everyone!

Busy week in Senior Infants

The Senior Infants were busy bees this week! They brought their books outside to the outdoor classroom to do their work while enjoying the lovely weather.

Farmer Duck Artwork

The Senior Infants enjoyed the story 'Farmer Duck' so much they made their own Ducks using crepe paper, glue and crayons. They look super!

Maths Hunt

The Senior Infant children were revising their numbers 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. With partners, they went on a maths number hunt around the classroom and school and found as many of these numbers as they could. The found so many they ran out of paper!

Welcome Back Senior Infants

Senior Infants have been very busy the past couple of weeks settling back at school in a new classroom and with a new teacher. The have been working very hard and should be very proud of themselves. They have made me feel very welcome here in Kilbride National School. Here they are taking part in the weekly mile for our school marathon. Well done everyone
