The children from Third class up to Sixth class really enjoyed playing cricket today in Kilbride National School. In Third and Fourth it was The Champions against The Sharks and in Fifth and Sixth it was The Kilbride Cupcakes against The 69ers. It was an enjoyable experience and seemed to ignite a hidden interest in some of the children for this sport. Playing cricket today linked in nicely with all the active things that are doing around the school in trying to earn our Active Flag. We are hoping to bring back the game of cricket to Kilbride National School.
