We were very lucky to get some lovely weather for sports day this year. Everyone had great fun all day long. Well done everyone!
4th, 5th and 6th class had their school tour `Let
s Go` in DCU this year. There was a wide range of activities including Disco Dance, Zorbee Ball and Virtual reality activities. Every had a fantastic day and great fun was had.

4th and 5th class recently took part in a step by step art lesson on zoom with an artist organised by Meath county council. The lesson was based on the bio diversity of wetlands. Everyone had great fun and produced some fantastic drawings.
Everyone had great fun celebrating Europe week recently. 4th and 5th class researched all about different countries around Europe before making posters to display about their favourite country. Well done to everyone for putting in a huge effort. The projects look great.
Our hurling team have been busy competing in the Cumann na mBúnscoil recently. The team are making great progress with some great results in recent matches.

We have been busy drumming for the past few weeks. Thanks to Dave for all his hard work again this year with the class.

4th & 5th have been busy gardening for Green day this year. The class planted lavender seeds after working hard to prepare the seed bed. We are all excited to see the lavender begin to grow as the weeks go on.

4th & 5th class were busy recently creating projects as part of the curious minds initiative. The class worked together to make functioning robots, 3D robots and Lego models while researching all about robotics.

4th and 5th class have really taken to the Rubik's cube phenomenon lately. Not only can we solve them, we can now draw them also. If you`re up for a challenge 38 seconds is the current record time to solve a cube in the class.
4th and 5th class had a very eventful week this week. The class came up with a variety of science experiments and presented them to the other classes in the school.. Everyone had great fun.

Halloween art is underway. Some excellent examples of chalk art and some very spooky haunted houses.
This week for maths week the class were busy with quiz activities, maths trails and all kinds of maths challenges. The class really enjoyed this rugby world cup challenge.
Fourth, fifth and sixth class all had a great time on their recent visit to Trim Library where they were entertained with Candlelit Tales about Irish Legends. It was a great day out for everyone!
Fourth and Fifth class have been busy learning all about fire safety. as part of The Meath County Council Fire Safety Art competition. Some excellent art pieces were entered in the competition and a lot of valuable lessons were learned.
