Fourth and Fifth Class

Drumming

We have been busy drumming for the past few weeks. Thanks to Dave for all his hard work again this year with the class.

Hurling Training

4th & 5th class have been busy practising their hurling skills for the last few weeks. Thanks to Coach Mags for training the children. They are having great fun and making lots of great progress.

Easter baskets

We have been busy weaving Easter baskets as we approach the Easter Holidays. I hope everyone has a fantastic break over the next couple of weeks.

Rugby

4th and 5th class have had great fun over the last few weeks playing rugby. Thanks to coach Jake who came all the way from New Zealand to train the boys and girls.

Green day 2024

4th & 5th have been busy gardening for Green day this year. The class planted lavender seeds after working hard to prepare the seed bed. We are all excited to see the lavender begin to grow as the weeks go on.

St Patricks Day Art

Happy St Patricks day from everyone in 4th & 5th class. The class were busy getting Shamrocks ready for St Patricks day. Everyone had a great green day

Robotics

4th & 5th class were busy recently creating projects as part of the curious minds initiative. The class worked together to make functioning robots, 3D robots and Lego models while researching all about robotics.

World book day

Well done to everyone for making such a great effort dressing up for world book day.

Crazy hair day

St Brigid`s Day

Everyone had great fun making St Brigid`s crosses to celebrate St Brigid.. 4th class were busy working with senior infants and everyone had great fun.

Athletics & GAA

A massive thanks to Joan and Cathal for all their hard work over the past week. The children had a great time and learned lots of new skills.

Grandparents Day

We were very lucky to have so many Grandparents and Godparents visit the school for Grandparents day. Everyone had a great day. Well done to everyone for putting in a huge effort this year.

Christmas Play - Home for Christmas

Well done to everyone in 4th class for a excellent performance in the Christmas play. The class worked so hard rehearsing over the last few week`s. Definitely some future acting careers on the cards. Well done Everyone.

Christmas Art

Rubik`s cube art

4th and 5th class have really taken to the Rubik's cube phenomenon lately. Not only can we solve them, we can now draw them also. If you`re up for a challenge 38 seconds is the current record time to solve a cube in the class.

Science week

4th and 5th class had a very eventful week this week. The class came up with a variety of science experiments and presented them to the other classes in the school.. Everyone had great fun.

Halloween costumes and activities

Some very scary characters showed up in 4th and 5th class for Halloween. Well done to everyone for the brilliant effort put in

Halloween Art

Halloween art is underway. Some excellent examples of chalk art and some very spooky haunted houses.

Maths week

This week for maths week the class were busy with quiz activities, maths trails and all kinds of maths challenges. The class really enjoyed this rugby world cup challenge.

Trim Library

Fourth, fifth and sixth class all had a great time on their recent visit to Trim Library where they were entertained with Candlelit Tales about Irish Legends. It was a great day out for everyone!

Fire Safety

Fourth and Fifth class have been busy learning all about fire safety. as part of The Meath County Council Fire Safety Art competition. Some excellent art pieces were entered in the competition and a lot of valuable lessons were learned.

This month 4th and 5th class were busy learning all about Ireland. Well done to everyone on putting a great effort into their projects and presentations

Our New Classroom

After a lot of hard work by the builders and Mrs Murphy in the recent months 4th & 5th class were delighted to move into their new classroom. The facilities are fantastic!
