Our annual Fun Day is due to take place on Sunday the 8th June from 2pm to 5pm. All those involved in our school community and anyone else who would like to join in with the fun are welcome to attend. The day will be filled with many fun activities, some of our old favourites and a few new surprises too! There will also be a giant raffle with prizes including a €100 voucher and goody bag for Kildare Village, a flicker and a range of others.
This year it has been decided to move away from the traditional races by having a team event called "Kilbride's Fittest Team". Boys and girls of all ages will be asked to register their name at the gate as they enter the Fun Day. They will be then placed on a mixed team where each team will have to take part in a timed obstacle course. The obstacle course will include many exciting tasks including a sprint, an egg and spoon race, a sack race and a few more surprises. The team with the best time will be crowned Kilbride's Fittest Team. The races will start at 2.30pm sharp. The emphasis of the races this year is fun and teamwork. We are all looking forward to a great day.
