We had a great day yesterday at the Grandparent's Day here in Kilbride N.S. The children were very excited for their grandparents to come and see where they go to school. The children worked really hard preparing for the day; practicing for the lovely prayer service, practicing singing the song "Love Shine a Light" and creating their wonderful memories which they presented to their grandparents at the tea party. The children were also in charge of bringing in things to decorate their family's table for the tea party. During the tea party the children discussed the days when their grandparents went to school and compared it to what school is like today. Thank You to everyone involved in making the day a lovely day for all the children, grandparents and their families.
