Our wonderful Sixth Class in Kilbride National School! They have been selected by the Ombudsman for Children’s Office to act as ambassadors for this school year. Only two schools in the country were selected and we are delighted that our sixth class were chosen. They have always been a great class and everyone in the school is very proud of every one of them!
Arianna Walsh , Claire McGreal and Emily Brennan were the Ombudsman for Children Representatives who came to Kilbride NS today to meet with their new Ambassadors and to discuss with them their very important role. The sixth class have been invited to attend the very prestigious Child Talks event in the Helix later this month. This is a very important annual event that takes place to celebrate and mark World Children’s Day. The children are really looking forward to this event and they will keep you informed about all their work as Ambassadors this year. Congratulations to Mia, Luke, Cathal, Agostino, Ailbhe, Noah, Eddie, Isla, Macy and Blaithín on this great achievement. It could not have happened to a nicer class, and I know they will be great Ambassadors!
