Day of Action - Friday 14th March 2014

Our Green Day was a great success on Friday 14th March 2014. Everyone had lots of fun. It was a Day of Action where the children particularly focused on having a Low Energy Day. All the children wore in green clothes. Great work was done in the garden with the planting of onions and spuds which added to our crop!! Many thanks to Miriam McHale who lent us her green fingers to help out in the garden. The children also performed a Céile. The children in all classes danced until their dropped and there were even some special Irish Dancing displays by some of our own Irish dancers. Everyone involved really enjoyed the day of action and both teachers and children did a great job at keeping the energy usage in the school low on this day. Well done everyone!!
