Discover Science Award 2014

The boys and girls from all classes in Kilbride National School have all been working hard on their Discover Science and Mathematics Award this week. We had previously carried out lots of experiments throughout the school year for this and we compiled these along with work from our Young Scientist project, the Greenwave Project that 3rd and 4th classes completed, photographs and essays about our visits from The Heritage Council, photographs from Science Week, Science Day and other science and maths related activities that we have carried out in our school. We have a great tradition of Science and Maths in Kilbride National School and are hoping that all the great work that we have carried out this year will earn us our sixth award. Our completed Discovery Log was sent in the post today, Friday 2nd May 2014, so we will just wait now to hear back from Discover Primary Science and Maths. Well done to teachers and children on all their hard work putting this Discovery Log together.
