All the children have been working really hard in Kilbride National School in preparation for the centenary celebrations of the 1916 Easter Rising which will be taking place in schools all over Ireland on Tuesday, 15th March 2016.
The children in Fifth and Sixth Class along with Mrs. Mallee were given the very important job of drawing up a new proclamation on behalf of all the children and staff in Kilbride National School. Here is the Proclamation for a New Generation as drawn up by children in Fifth and Sixth Class:
