World Book Day was a great success in Kilbride National school. Many thanks to the parents who sent in books for our Swap Shop. Chilren brought in any books that they were finished reading. For each book that they brought in they were given a token. They then used these tokens to swap their own books for other unwanted books which were new to them.
The children were also asked to dress up as a character from their favourite book. The outfits were very creative and a lot of effort was put into preparing them.
The chidlren also recieved a book token to the value of 1.50 euro.
